Our mission
A character-formation movement rooted in Yoruba wisdom
Through the Ọ̀nà Ìwà learning engine, we teach core virtues through daily lessons, proverbs, reflection, storytelling and community engagement.
Mission
To revive, teach and transmit the Yoruba ideal of Ọmọlúàbí as a practical framework for character formation, ethical living, leadership, family life, community responsibility and human dignity.
Purpose
To make Ọmọlúàbí accessible to millions of people through culturally grounded learning, daily moral reflection, proverbs, storytelling, digital media, family resources, school materials, community engagement and public education.
Impact
We aim to support a renewed culture of character by helping individuals, families, schools, workplaces and communities practise virtues that strengthen trust, dignity, responsibility and social cohesion.
Theory of change
If we codify Ọmọlúàbí into a clear, culturally faithful and practical learning framework, and deliver it through daily lessons, proverbs, stories, reflection, audio, video, WhatsApp, SMS, web, app, family resources and partnerships, then people and communities will have repeated opportunities to learn, practise and embody good character.
Values
What guides us
These values run through every lesson, proverb and practice in the Initiative.
